FAQs
1. What is an air fryer and how does it work?
An air fryer is a kitchen appliance that cooks food using hot air circulation combined with a small amount of oil (or no oil at all). This method allows you to achieve crispy, golden results similar to deep frying but with less fat, making meals healthier without compromising taste.
2. What types of food can I cook in a air fryer?
Our air fryers are versatile and can cook a wide variety of foods, including:
French fries, chicken wings, and nuggets
Vegetables and roasted potatoes
Fish, shrimp, and other seafood
Baked goods like muffins or small pastries
Always check your user manual for maximum capacity and recommended cooking times for specific foods.
3. How do I clean my air fryer?
Ensure the appliance is unplugged and completely cooled before cleaning.
The basket and tray are removable and dishwasher safe. You can also hand wash with warm, soapy water.
Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse the main unit in water.
Regular cleaning prevents buildup and ensures optimal performance.
4. Can I use aluminum foil or parchment paper?
Yes, you can use foil or parchment paper for easier cleanup, but make sure:
It does not block air circulation inside the fryer.
Food is placed on top of the foil/paper and not under or around the heating element.
5. How much oil should I use?
For most recipes, a tablespoon or less is enough. The air fryer’s circulating hot air cooks food evenly while keeping it crispy. Some foods, like frozen fries or chicken wings, may not require any oil at all.
6. My food isn’t cooking evenly. What can I do?
Avoid overfilling the basket; food should be in a single layer for best results.
Shake or turn food halfway through cooking.
Preheat the air fryer for 2–3 minutes before cooking, especially for frozen items.
7. Can I cook frozen food directly in the air fryer?
Yes. Most frozen items, such as fries, chicken nuggets, and fish fillets, can be cooked directly without thawing. Adjust the cooking time slightly if needed and shake or flip halfway through for even results.
8. How long does it take to cook food in an air fryer?
Cooking times vary by food type, size, and quantity. Generally, small portions of frozen foods take 10–20 minutes, while fresh vegetables or meats may take 15–25 minutes. Refer to the recipe guide in your user manual for specific cooking times.
9. Can I bake or roast in the air fryer?
Yes. Air fryers are designed for baking, roasting, grilling, and reheating, in addition to air frying. You can make cakes, muffins, roasted vegetables, and small casseroles.
10. What should I do if my air fryer isn’t working properly?
Ensure the unit is plugged in correctly and the basket is inserted properly.
Check for error messages or unusual noises.
